Un bouquin, noir, tr\u00e8s noir<\/strong>. Implacable. Pas vraiment un policier comme nous le dit l’\u00e9diteur. Ou alors un polar rural comme chez Jim Thompson. Franck Bouysse abandonne pour une fois sa Corr\u00e8ze visit\u00e9e dans Plateau (Surbook\u00e9 16). Nous sommes en Loz\u00e8re au-dessus du Pont-de-Monvert. Une terre rude qui ne nourrit pas son homme, le pays des Parpaillots. Gus et Abel sont deux vieux fermiers install\u00e9s au-dessus du bourg. Gus a la cinquantaine, Abel son voisin probablement vingt ans de plus. Ils vivent seuls en compagnie de leurs vaches. Gus a aussi son chien Mars, ainsi nomm\u00e9 parce qu’il l’a trouv\u00e9 un mois de mars. La duret\u00e9 de la vie pousse parfois Gus et Abel \u00e0 s’entraider voire \u00e0 vider une bouteille ensemble. Mais cela reste l’exception. Chacun chez soi et les vaches seront bien gard\u00e9es. Gus a eu une existence particuli\u00e8rement rude. Orphelin, suite \u00e0 la mort de son p\u00e8re transperc\u00e9 \u00e0 coups de fourche par sa m\u00e8re qui n’en pouvait plus d’\u00eatre saillie. Elle l’avait pay\u00e9 d’un long s\u00e9jour en prison, car \u00e0 cette \u00e9poque une femme devait se donner \u00e0 son mari. Elle ne s’en \u00e9tait pas remise puisqu’elle se suicida \u00e0 peine lib\u00e9r\u00e9e devant le jeune Gus qui ne la regretta pas. Dans sa ferme, Gus a une existence bien r\u00e9gl\u00e9e, qui ne laisse aucune place aux contacts. Ni avec le repr\u00e9sentant de la banque qui voudrait lui ouvrir un compte. Encore moins avec les \u00c9vang\u00e9listes, ces suceurs de Bible qui le d\u00e9marchent en vain. Pourtant cette journ\u00e9e ne sera pas comme les autres. L’abb\u00e9 Pierre vient de mourir, or Gus le solitaire aime bien l’abb\u00e9 Pierre. Si cela ne suffisait pas, Abel semble cacher des choses \u00e0 Gus. Et puis il y a ces coups de feu entendus \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de la ferme et ces traces de sang dans la neige. Comme chez Thompson, l’histoire ne peut que mal se terminer. On le sait mais ce qui compte c’est la mani\u00e8re dont elle est racont\u00e9e. Et Franck Bouysse est un grand \u00e9crivain.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
