Richard Morgi\u00e8ve<\/strong> est nostalgique des ann\u00e9es 70. Celles o\u00f9 l’on r\u00eavait de rouler en DS 21 ou mieux encore en DS\u00a023. Le temps de ses vingt ans qu’il nous fait revivre avec son double Mietek Breslauer. Un gentil voyou juif d’origine polonaise, parlant vaguement le yiddish, orphelin de longue date, fid\u00e8le en amiti\u00e9 et grand s\u00e9ducteurs de femmes. Un peu proxo, m\u00eame s’il ne met pas ses conqu\u00eates sur le trottoir, se contentant de se faire entretenir par celles qu’il croit aimer. Un dur \u00e0 cuire comme dans les romans de Jos\u00e9 Giovanni, capable de rosser les petites frappes qui l’attendent au coin d’une rue et de ne rien dire aux flics qui l’interrogent \u00e0 coup de bottin. Un grand sentimental aussi puisqu’il prend soin de sa voisine de palier, Madame Test, qui finit difficilement sa vie dans un appartement situ\u00e9 bien trop haut pour ses vieilles jambes. Mieteck vit de vols de voitures. Une activit\u00e9 plut\u00f4t r\u00e9mun\u00e9ratrice mais pas suffisamment dangereuse pour le faire replonger. Car quand on a \u00e9t\u00e9 en taule, on a aucune envie d’y retourner. En progressant dans le roman, on vous met au d\u00e9fi de ne pas tomber sous le charme de Mietek comme cela vous arriverait dans la vraie vie si vous rencontriez Richard Morgi\u00e8ve. Car c’est bien son existence qu’il nous raconte dans ce livre. Un peu romanc\u00e9e car il n’a jamais fait de prison ni mis quiconque sur le trottoir. Mais pour le reste Mietek lui ressemble bougrement. Cela tombe bien car auteur de vingt-sept romans, Morgi\u00e8ve n’est jamais aussi convainquant que lorsqu’il nous raconte sa vie. Essayez donc Un petit homme de dos <\/a><\/strong><\/em>qui nous pr\u00e9sente son p\u00e8re polonais qui se suicida quand il avait quatorze ans. Ou encore Fausto o\u00f9 il met en sc\u00e8ne ses ann\u00e9es d’orphelin. Une grande partie de l’histoire des Hommes est v\u00e9ridique. Le quartier Pernety dans le quatorzi\u00e8me arrondissement avec ses bistrots crasseux comme celui de la m\u00e8re Ren\u00e9e. D\u00e9barras 2000, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e avec des copains pour vider les caves. L’amiti\u00e9 avec Fran\u00e7ois \u00e0 qui Morgi\u00e8ve a d\u00e9dicac\u00e9 nombre de ses livres. Fran\u00e7ois si compliqu\u00e9 dans ses rapports avec sa famille. Sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 s’occuper de l’enfant d’un autre. L’attirance pour l’\u00e9criture qui taraude Mieteck est aussi la sienne.
